Like the “ILUMINATING CAR SLIPPERS” though I would be a little too old for them. All the rest will end up in a cupboard for gadgets never used, that modern ladder could prove useful, as long as I was not wearing the slippers.

That toilet seat thing was somethin id been vibin for a while, it seems like somethin you could retire on with just a patent. The mug isn’t designed for left and right handers, it’s designed for right handed people. If a left-handed person were to use it, the biscuits would fall out. If there were a sliding base so when you twist it, both sides are closed, twist more, both sides open, then it would truly be a left/right handed mug, and also, there would be no chance of losing your cookies.

The cups are available in right OR left handed. You are looking at the right handed, the left is opposite!

Also you still need the rightly curved banana for the banana guard. Probably most banana’s wont fit..
The ‘Lock-cup’ seems usefull, but why would someone steal an empty coffee-cup, they’d probably only take a cup with coffee in it, and you cant lock it then.
@ Penguin-tea-timer: Like making tea would take that much time..
And wouldnt the Laser scissors only make a small dot on the paper? If so, the dot will turn as you turn the scissors and thus not help at all.

They just didn’t show the one designed for left-handers. They do make them. They put the handle on the other side.
I read about the banana thing in Make, a magazine. It’s designed to fit 90% of bananas. So, it’s not really that useless. Unless you happen to have the odd banana out of ten. D: Then it is sad.

People steal my empty coffee cup all the time… not when it has coffee in it… why the hell would someone want to drink someone else’s coffee? but the idea behind bringing my own cup is that i get a nice china one which is nice to drink from and comfortable to hold…. that one is a cool idea, but it looks like it’s too thick to me… i guess it’s a matter of perference. It woudl really suck if the key started to wear out or wasn’t put in correctly though haha. I don’t know how the banana one works - most of the bananas i buy vary significantly in shape and size, especially since most of the banana crops in Aust got wiped out and we had to start importing inferior, tiny bananas. everything else is cool… that baby thing is particularly interesting… perhaps it could be used to keep pabies on their side.. which might help to stop SIDS! cool

The ladder idea is a cryin’ shame. Did it ever occur to the designer that you may need to stand on the same rung with both feet?? Never mind having to stand on one rung and lean to the same side you are standing on… Whoever uses this ladder better have good workers comp insurance!! Nice try, but no thanx. I like having the use of all my limbs!

I have a banana box for my son to take to school, it’s great! It really does fit most bananas, unless they are very straight or huge! It stops his bananas getting squashed with his school books & is a source of great amusement amongst his friends!!
I would have loved an extra pair of hands when my baby girl was that age.
I don’t need a giant remote. I need one with a trucker chain on it so it’s always with me!

Depending on where you’re travelling, you might cause an internationals incident with it though!

Toilet lid lifter a great idea. No more pheasants in your house leaving the toilet lid up. Have trying to invent an idea for years. Can never understand why people can never put a seat or lid down after them.
I’m putting the toaster on my Christmas list.
The thing about the scissors with the laser is that you could make a mark on both sides of the paper and keep it lined up the whole way along, so you could see if the laser went off course.
Did I explain that right?
I believe the PeaceMaker was invented by a middle schooler on Long Island for a science project. I’m glad to see he’s making a buck on it.
Re: the toilet lid lifter… I cured my husband of leaving the lid up by putting an extra thick fuzzy lid cover on it, along with an extra thick tank lid cover. He had to hold the lid up while he went, else it would drop closed. After a year (he’s a bit thick), he got in the habit of lowering the lid when done.
I want that toaster…now, please.

Loved this site. The baby hands were my favorite. How I wish I’d had them when my child was that age.
Everyone of these inventions is rediculous except the waiter/waitress trays upon the approval of waiters and waitress’. The baby hands is not proven.

Great list. Have seen a fair few lists like this, first time I’ve seen one where I own something on it though, well owned one. The Big remote, don’t know where it is though, think my brother has it, they are ok, more novelty value really.

The laser scissors work if you have to follow a line drawn on a piece of paper. The beam is far enough ahead of the cutters that it keeps you on track. Perfectly worthless for anything but a straight line, however. I have the same thing on my circular saw.
hmmmm……toilet seat thingy……..it looks like it only goes up to a certain height. so what about the taller people with longer legs? wouldnt they like hit the seat?
and the laser scissors. first of all, you wouldnt be able to see the beam. and second, it would just move w/ your hand. and even if you try really hard to not move your hand, it would still wobble. try holding a laser in the exact same spot. doesnt work does it?

Everything is cool except for the sciccors. No matter where you cut you will always be on the laser, so if you tilt the sciccors to the left or right, it will still look like youre on a straight line.

the moveing bench is retarded and why the hell woud somone put the toster on this page. it is rilly neet but it is just torcher to look at and not have and the coffe cup with the removabel hole thing what hapens when you lose the blocker for the coffe and you are just lazy if you get the toulet lifter just lift it your sellf. the big remote thing does not work i still manage to lose it in my house + my brother takes it to bed with him he is cinda fat. the sisers do not work becas tilt you hand and it moves off an if you try to put two ponts at diffonret ends of the papet good luck geting that level to each other. and to butter cuter looks like it will rilly work
